Throwing Paper Airplanes (TPA) is a four piece pop/punk, rock band hailing from Trenton, Michigan with a large local following, looking to expand their viewing area. They been together since January 2007. The band is comprised of Jonny WIlson, Alecks, VanWallaghen, Eric Kern, and Andrew Alojipan. They are a crazy group of guys that work hard, make friends wherever they go, and promotes all venues and bands that play shows with them. They list some of their influences as Jesus, Five Dollar Pizzas and girls.

"After recently being turned on to Throwing Paper Airplanes, I did my usual thing and listened to all the music they had available. What I heard was a refreshing change from the typical Pop/Punk Rock tunes and I immediately played them through a few more times. Their upbeat, fun-loving attitude is easily recognizable in all of their music. The distinct voice of singer Jonny Wilson instantly draws listeners in and makes you want more. Each member of Throwing Paper Airplanes is equally as talented and brings their own unique style to every song. Their diverse influences come together to create music that can be enjoyed by a variety of audiences. It’s hard to believe this skilled band is not in their 20’s or 30’s, but only 16-17 and still in high school. Anyone who hears their music can tell that this young group is going somewhere. Their crowd-moving, feel good songs will put a spring in your step and a smile on your face for a long time."
