About Me:
Sandra, The Moonchild Diva, has been in many bands throughout the years. The band she’s in now, The Frank Solano Band, performs oldies, blues and jazzy originals. She was born in Highland Park, just as fellow Moonchild, and rock & roll pioneer, Bill Haley. Her influences include Darlene Love, Martha Reeves, Ronnie Spector, Laura Nyro, Brian Wilson, Mark Lindsay (for singing and tambourine playing), Herbie Mann, Frank Sinatra, Jack Jones, Elvis, Ray Price and Patsy Cline and Glenn Danzig. Sandra feels that her interest in all types of music has enabled her to conceive her own style. She is in the midst of recording the long-awaited CD entitled FIRSTBORN.
