Tonight at Kelts Pub in Altus

Inspirations:
The walk through this life from child to adult is enough to inspire anyone to write the blues. Those with truely caring and sensitive hearts just bring them to life to share with others walking the same road.
Have you been jilted, abandoned, neglected, hurt, left with no warning and no good bye, lost a friend, seen a friend crash on the shores of drugs and depression, lost all you had or felt you could never love again?
The songs MoBluz plays are for you.
It's life that inspires the music MoBluz plays. Hard times in his life means more blues for you.
Sounds Like:
Almost any great blues player.

About Us:
"Every Hue of Blue", the new CD, is now available.
Dennis Hoffman, the blue man behind Mobluz, married and moved to Arkansas. He's still keeping the life in live music with his original, classic and rockin' blues as a solo act until he can build a new band.
Booking now for '09 in the area of Altus Arkansas . See the schedule at http://www.mobluzband.com/ . Hear some live recordings of their music on the my space page: http://myspace.com/mobluzband
Like any other band, the MoBluz Band started out as an idea. With years of experience playing solo and in other bands doing cover tunes, Dennis Hoffman reached the point where he wanted to do the music he enjoyed - Blues and R & B.
Cover tunes in the genre were plentiful and popular but his own music had been developing over the years. Getting your heart into and loving what you do means putting yourself into it. His next step was to bring those originals to the public.
Between bands and solo gigs the dream had begun percolating. Dennis was talking with a friend one day. That friend said, "I hear yo' writin' music now. What kinda stuff are yo' writin'?
Dennis answered, "Blues man. I had a lot of different influences in my music, but blues is what I'm writin'".
His friend quipped, " Tha's jus' what we need, mo' blues!
The phrase struck a chord in Dennis. He grinned and told his friend, " Thanks, man! You just named the band."
From idea to name to reality takes time and commitment. "MoBluz" started as a solo with Dennis on vocals and guitar, grew into a Michigan Blues Band and has morphed back to a solo act now that Dennis has relocated.
While MoBluz covers classic blues, R & B, classic rock, and country, the blues and rythym and blues tunes by Dennis provide a relevant and vivid base for the music to grow from.
His work ranges from soft and haunting to flat out, butt swingin' dance music. From standing by the one you love to being left lonely, the lyrics speak to almost anyone and have a way of reaching out that makes you want to hear them again.
As a dream becoming reality MoBluz is constantly evolving. He is flexing his musical talent and shaking down into a solid performer. He strives to bring out the best in each tune he plays.
Dennis enjoys the challange of reaching for the right mix, balance and blend, to make each song stand out. The audience benefits from his "glad to be here and glad you're here" 'tude. You don't just listen to MoBluz, you feel what the music expresses and it speaks to you.
Dennis has that elusive quality that so many try for but never quite get - he's real, the blues he sings are real. When he plays their is a melding, blending, joining; Man, instrument, notes and words are expressed fully from his heart and soul to yours.
Come on out and join MoBluz for a night that isn't just the "same old songs". If you don't find yourself tapping your toes or swingin your body in time to the music at least once during the night, I'll call the medics for you myself! - D.S. Weiler, web contact
