About Us:

King of the Forest is a progressive/indie rock group from Michigan. Made up of five members. Michelle Russell-lead vocals, Ashley Russell-guitar, Joe Klein- guitar, Will Klein- bass and Mike Censke on drums. King of the Forest originated in early 2007, originally with Lou Howard on drums. As a result of some ongoing issues with Lou, we had to part ways. Fred stepped in as our drummer from April-October '08. We have just found our new and permanent drummer, Mike. Things have been moving up for us. We play regular gigs locally, eventually moving on to bigger things. We have released our first studio album "The Nerve".
