All Users:
All users can create a LocalMusicLife.com account to begin creating their own profiles. A special feature of our website
is the ability to manage multiple profiles (1 fan, unlimited artists/venues/resources) from a single account. We recommend everyone begin
by creating a 'Fan' profile. This will be the profile for you individually, and you can then create artist, venue or resource profiles. A fan
profile is not required to create other types of profiles.
Don't want to create a profile? You can create an account to receive our newsletter and post classified listings, but you cannot send messages, network with users or post on the forum without creating any type of profile.
Everyone who registers gets access to:

Artists, Venues and Resources:
Creating a profile automatically registers you in our poll.
Artists Only:
Only artists are permitted to upload music.
Venues/Resources:
Venues and Resources have the option to display their address and hours of operation.
Fans Only:
Fans are not permitted to create events like the other profiles, but they can link to current events from other profiles to display on their own profiles.
Members/Memberships:
Artists, Venues and Resources have an option to add members to their profiles. Using the administration tool, only the person who originally created the profile can add members. To add members, the profile creator can enter the name and position of the member. If the member has a LocalMusicLife.com profile, there is a space to add that members weblink name.
There are two access levels for adding members with LocalMusicLife.com profiles, Full and Restricted. Full members can add, edit and remove items from all areas of that profile, send and view messages, and approve comments. Restricted members can view all public information, but cannot make any changes or view private messages sent to and from their membership profile.
If member profile is an Artist, Venue or Resource profile, only the user who created the member profile will have access
to the administration of the profile to which they are a member of.
For example: I create an Artist profile that has three Fan profiles linked as members to my Artist. My Artist profile is
then linked as a member of a Resource profile (maybe a record label or other type). Only me as the creator of the Artist
profile can view information in the Resource profile if the access level is properly set, not the other linked
Fan profiles from the Artist profile.
