Downseed has been raising the bar for the world of rock since thier re-birth in 2005. Playing with bands such as Taproot, Bullet for my Valentine, Flaw, Nonpoint, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Black Dahlia Murder, Every Time I Die, Puddle of Mud, Mark Rizzo, Kittie, Silverstein, The Dirty Americans and so many others, Downseed has made it clear that they are here and they are here to stay. From thier catchy soft melodies and heart felt lyrics, to thier gut renching screams, Downseed has created a powerfull and emotional sound unlike anything out there today. "We want our music to reach out and grab people" says Nate Cupp, guitar player/vocalist for Downseed. "it’s one thing for someone to hear a song and say hey, its a good song. But its another thing for someone to hear a song that changes thier outlook on things".
Downseed has just released a 6 song ep with 37 studios, and they are already working on thier followup. " it’s hard to sum up the new material because each song is so unique" says Matt Mconnell, lead vocalist for Downseed. "it’s edgy, its raw and yet it’s beautiful. we couldn’t be happier with it". Downseed is continuing to work on new material as well as touring as much as possible.
