DJC is an singer and songwriter from the Detroit area... but here is how it started,the brief history of:

It all Started like this....

***1992***
DJC was formed, a Kid still in High School a D- student, was creating mix tapes and handing them out to friends. Simply by using a cassete stereo a pause button and his favorite Rock and hip hop/rap Tapes.

***1993***
DJC gets dumped by his High school sweetheart, feeling crushed decides to make his first single called "The Trashbashing Single" which was about hitting peoples trash in the local suburban upperclass neighborhoods.

***1994***
The "TRASHBASHING SINGLE" single was a flop but managed to sell about 104 copies at local stores during late 1994 and mid 1995. The production only being a basement, a cheap mic and a drum machine and mixer.. the first ever recording put to the public in local record stores. songs included "TRASHBASHERS" & "Cant Make it go away".

***1996***
At a Local concert in Royal Oak featuring 20 Dead Flower Children, DJC throws out two garbage bags worth of his new Halloween single "HALLOWEEN GROOVE" and people scramble it up and it is a collectors item in the world of DJC today. Still limited sales,yet a sound was starting to evolve.

***1997***
DJC joins up with local hardcore metal band D.O.C. (Defamation Of Character) to record a song called "SIT BACK AND RELAX" and also joined them onstage for all the local shows from 1997-1999. Playing with many local and national rock bands. Meanwhile writing songs and getting better at performing,DJC gets ready for his E.P.

***1999***
DJC decides to pack up and take his music style to California where friends 20 Dead flower children had moved. After partying and doing other activities non- work related, DJC starts drinking heavily. And with Help and production from good friend 20 Dead Guitarist "the suitguy" makes a new demo CD "DEVASTATING JUST CAUSE" songs included: TAKING,THE CLERK,ENEMY,THE TRUTH,JUST ANOTHER DAY. about to go into duplication,but only makes it to a few record label hands by 2000, and starts a small following.

***2000***
DJC Moves back to Detroit/Warren Michigan for awhile thru summer of 2000 because of health problems related to heavy drinking. his quote "LIVER EXPLODED" but this wasn't a laughing matter, as nursing a liver back to average health wasn't easy and required 4 months of complete detox from all alcohol. Still writing and recording.

***2001***
DJC drives back out to California to play shows with friends and help promote and spread the word of Detroit Music. all through the year. DJC always being a fan of Detroit Rock,Classic rock and Hip Hop.

***2002***
DJC Joins up with DIRT E from 20 DEAD and he becomes DJC's Music making producer. DJC was Staying at DROID's studio and Loft in Long Beach for a couple years playing shows and recording the new CD "Been a Long Time.." with Help of gutarist Bruce of Droid and bassist DIRT-E, DJC recorded the album in Huntington Beach,CA at 1605 studios and the rest of the album in Long Beach at Droid studios to be released in 2005.Feeling homesick and ready for a change again DJC plans on unleashing the new music back home in the Detroit area. The Comeback.

***2004***
DJC moves back to Detroit permanatley to release the new CD and play all new shows with new music in the city he loves Detroit Baby!!!
And showing the aggressive and pissed lyrics from the past few years and revamping old songs as well...

***2005***
DJC released the album "Been A long Time..."and playing new shows Back In detroit, DJC gets Ready for the biggest year and the biggest musical change!! and new shows, teaming up with hardcore metal bands TEN TON DIESELHEAD and CLASS ONE DOWNLOAD, DJC plays drunken show after drunken show,and begins to drink heavy again.

***2006***
DJC Plays shows with all local hardcore and rock bands from HATCHY's to the Score,ROB'S PLACE and others all over Metro Detroit. Also in the studio creating the music you love.

***2007***
A new E.P. in the works called "Hang Over" and an additude of real music unleashed for underground fans everywhere!! stay tuned muthafuckas!!! The industry is dead!! time to take back our music and our world!!!!!!!!And now is the perfect time for a new DJC release,with some new surprises!!
