New Jackson/Marshall Band Seeking Singer And Guitarist - Thursday October 29th, 2009

Hello,
Citizen Blind, a new original rock/alt. rock band in the Jackson/Marshall area seeks vocalist. All band members are in their 30's, and have had previous experience in different bands over the past 2 decades.
All band members work full time, so for us the key is having fun in a relaxed stress-free atmosphere than trying to 'make it'. Of course, we want to get to the point where we can gig out, but right now we're jamming and writing material. We are currently moving out of our studios in Lansing and getting ready to set up shop near Marshall. So we're trying to find some talent in that area.

Our influences and tastes are many and diverse: Joy Division, Avenge Sevenfold, Kings Of Leon, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Black Label Society, AC/DC... just to name a few.

We seek a vocalist (male or female, it doesn't matter) with a good set of pipes, good lyric writing skills, and reliable transportation, plus be able to get together on Saturdays in Marshall (some of us are in Jackson, so car-pooling is sometimes an option). No drugs or dramas, please. Ability to play an instr. a plus but not required.

We are also seeking a lead guitarist to add to our sound. We aren't looking for Yngwie Ray Van Hendrix, but we aren't looking for Thurston Moore, either. Just some one with some solid playing that can add some tasty leads and riffs to fill out the songs. No drugs or drama, please. Leave your ego at your place.
